Our Health and Fitness Program members will enjoy a slower, judgement-free, and controlled environment that caters to each individual. Our Health and Fitness Program classes are a small group (3-6 people) setting designed for adults with a complex medical background who may need a change from traditional workout plans. 

What to expect:

Before a Health and Fitness Program member begins their fitness journey, they will be evaluated by a licensed Physical Therapist to assess the appropriate type of exercise for each member.  For those who may not tolerate traditional, land-based exercises, we offer access to our exercise pool (complete with two underwater treadmills) at the Physical Therapy Associates facility on the South Hill of Spokane (click here to learn more). Enjoy the flexibility of our Health and Fitness Program schedule, with classes open to clients at 8:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 5:00 PM.

I was significantly overweight, had elevated inflammation levels, and needed to make a lifestyle change. I started by improving my nutrition through an anti-inflammatory meal plan (provided by a physician). I joined PTA in August 2017 as a way to help my fitness journey. I started out in the [health and fitness] program and was working out 3 days a week. When I started, I was at a place where I was very self-conscious and even the warm ups would leave me out of breath. Over this last year and a half, I have moved to an adult performance group and am working out 5-6 days a week. I have lost 148 lbs and feel better than ever. I am doing things I never though I would be able to do and have so much more energy!
